Introducing Experience Mapping™
Experience Mapping™ is an entirely new way to create a more effective and efficient web site.
Like everything we do at Third Person, Experience Mapping begins by looking at your web site from your end user’s perspective.
We start by asking who's coming to your web site? Why are they there? What information are they seeking? And how can we make their experience as satisfying as possible?
Only after we’ve answered these questions do we start building your site’s unique Experience Map.
Experience Mapping has four phases:
1. Identify ALL the possible users of your web site by their demographics, psychographics and reasons for visiting your site
2. Determine their purpose for coming to your web site. Are they looking for more information about products, trying to contact you, searching for an answer to a question, or ready to buy?
3. Identify Tasks. Tasks connect your user’s reasons to visiting your site to the actual info, products and services on your web site.
4. Create an Experience Map. By layering each task path on top of each other, we create a site map that provides all users with the experiences they want to have on your site. This Experience Map then acts as a blueprint for building the your web site.
