Kahn, chief consumer officer of New York-based, online grocery FreshDirect, joins the Claritas board to provide a new level of marketing strategy and insights, said Claritas CEO Mike Nazzaro.

Kahn is responsible for all consumer-facing marketing at FreshDirect, including shopping experience and digital/mobile development, driving new marketing platforms and enhancing the company's insights and database platforms. Prior to FreshDirect, Kahn was President of iVillage, Inc., NBCUniversal's largest provider of online content for women. Kahn also was President, Global Digital Media for Readers Digest Association, where she oversaw the magazine's strategy for digital expansion.
Throughout her career, Kahn also held executive positions at AllRecipes.com and Time Inc. In addition to working with the Claritas board, Khan also sits on the boards of Water.org, Edible Media, Shining Hope for Communities, and the Paley Center Women's Advisory Council.
